Math:  Lessons 66-69

Lesson 66:  Writing money amounts using the cent symbol

Lesson 67:  Dividing a square into halves

Lesson 68:  Subtraction Facts: Subtracting 2

Lesson 69:  Subtraction Facts: Subtracting 2

 

Religion:

We will learn about the Three Wise Men and The Holy Family

Science/Social Studies: We will read, Squirrel’s New Year’s Resolution and write our own New Year’s Goals. We will also start learning about Penguins and their habitat.

Enrichment: We will be completing an author study on Caralyn Buehner, starting with the book, Snowmen at Night and completing a craft and writing activity.

Homework:

Homework packet is due on Friday!

Reading: Practice Reading Decodable Readers online. Unit 3 (stories: Tate’s Cakes, Dave and the Whales, A Safe Lodge, The Race)

Workbook pages will come home in the binder on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Math: written practice is sent home nightly, except for days we complete an assessment. Please complete side B and return the next day.
