Important Dates and Information:

PTO Santa’s Christmas Corner- Our students will have a chance to shop for family members at Santa’s Christmas Corner on Tuesday, November 29th.  If your child is interested in shopping, please send back the completed list and their money in an envelope or baggie clearly marked with your child’s name.

Science/Social Studies: We will start our study on Christmas Around the World

Enrichment: We will be completing various Christmas themed projects and activities to go along with read alouds in class.

Homework packet is due on Friday!

Reading: Practice Reading Decodable Readers online. Unit 3 (stories: Seth and Beth, Zeb and Yak, The Duck Nest, Animal Moms)

Workbook pages will come home in the binder on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Math: written practice is sent home nightly, except for days we complete an assessment. Please complete side B and return the next day.

Looking Ahead to November 14th

Important Dates and Information:

Thanksgiving Prayer Service is Nov. 15 at 1:30 in the church.  All are invited.  Students will wear their Sunday best-no shorts, jeans, or flip flops.  Every student will have a part in the Prayer Service. 

The Food Drive continues until Friday, November 18th. Please continue to send in canned goods.

Friday, November 18th- Open House

Sunday, November 20th- Christ the King.  Students can wear their PE shirt or the St. A Christ the King shirt to mass. Students who attend will receive a jeans day on Nov 28.

Thanksgiving Break- November 21-25

We will continue to discuss and write about things we are Thankful for and prepare for our Thanksgiving Prayer Service

Science/Social Studies: We will continue to learn about Thanksgiving and continue with our Thanksgiving themed activities.

Enrichment: We will be completing a turkey craft and writing what we are Thankful for this year. We will also read, Run, Turkey, Run and working on how to disguise our turkey to hide from the farmer.

A Peek at the Week! November 7th

Important Dates and Information:

Monday, November 7th- We will attend the Book Fair as a whole class.  Please send money and a book list if you would like your child to shop.  The Book Fair is open before and after school Monday-Thursday. Please let me know if you have any questions.
