  • Please make sure your child is practicing the weekly sight words. They will have to be able to read each word in isolation as well as in a sentence.

Math:  Lessons 13-15

Lesson 13: Identifying a triangle, Identifying the number of sides and angles, sorting by one attribute

Lesson 14: Making a shape with a geoboard, Identifying inside and outside

Lesson 15.1: Acting and drawing pictures for some, some more and some, some went away

Lesson 15.2: Sorting by one attribute

 

Religion: Chapter 2: Heaven is Our Home & our prayer booklets

Science: We will continue to learn about weather & clouds

Genius Hour/ Enrichment: Cloud Experiment

A Peek at the Week! August 20, 2018

Important Dates and Information:

Tuesday, August 21st: Back to School Night- 7:00pm in the cafeteria

Reminder Back to School Night is on Tuesday, August 21st. It begins at 7PM in the cafeteria followed by information presented in the classroom. I will be going over classroom procedures, how to utilize the website, weekly testing, homework and more! I hope to see everyone on Tuesday. Please email me if you are unable to attend the meeting, I would be happy to email you the PowerPoint and send home any handouts. Have a Wonderful Weekend!
