Hurricane Dorian Update – Friday, August 30 at 3:30 p.m.
Schools within the Diocese of Palm Beach follow public school closures in their respective counties. In keeping with St. Lucie County’s storm-related decisions, St. Anastasia Catholic School will remain closed until further notice. The safety of our faculty, staff and students is of top priority. Please note that when St. Anastasia is closed, all activities on campus are suspended. Please check our website for St. Anastasia storm-related updates at www.saintanastasiaschool.org. During this hurricane season, and as always, the safety of our St. Anastasia faculty, staff and students is a top priority.

We will notify families via email, posting on the website, and social media sites as to when school will re-open. Please know that St. Anastasia will resume school as soon as we deem it safe for students and employees to return, and that we have verified that road conditions are safe for traveling. The decisions as to school activity cancellations and closures are made using sound judgment and information obtained from the Emergency Operation Center.

Please stay tuned for updates on our website and on our social media sites for additional information. We pray for the safety of our families, staff, and community.

I will adjust my lessons and homework once we return to school.
