Specials:

Monday, Tuesday, Friday (Spanish, music, guidance):   Children need to wear their regular uniforms (no PE).  Approved shoes and navy socks are required.  Tennis shoes are not to be worn on these days.  Belts are required if there are belt loops.

Word Study: short /o/ sound, short /o/ word families, CVC words

Grammar: Adjectives: size and shape

Sight Words: Review Week (of, for, she, he, if, get, had, did, with, what, now, are)

(Please practice the sight words nightly at home)  

Writing:  writing a complete sentence, using adjectives to describe size and shape

 Math: copy line segments, shapes, and designs on a geoboard, estimate collections and count by 10’s, identify dimes, trade 10 pennies for a dime, compare events according to duration of time, and count by 10’s, identify, create and extend ABB sound and movement patterns, and count by dimes to 50 cents

Religion:  Advent and St. Nicholas

Religion:  We will discuss and write about things we are Thankful for.
